Eventually, Ray’s life would include all the trappings of a good one; a flourishing business, a big house and nice cars. However, the sacrifices he made to get there cut too deep. It isn’t until tragedy strikes that Ray realizes that his family needed more.

I read the book in one day!!! I LOVED IT!!!! At
first when I put it down after my breaks at work-I kept saying "I can't
wait to get home to finish watching that movie", when in fact - it's a
book. I talked about it to all my co-workers who want to read mine-I would
lend it out, but then that would take away from the author . Can't wait
to read the next one. Keep up the good work.
An avid reader, Carla

I just wanted to commend you on the wonderful job that you did with God's
Child. It was excellent. I cried like a baby at the end. I hope to see
more wonderful work from you in the future and congratulations on your
becoming an author. I hope to someday become a writer myself. I am
working on my first book now and I have two more ideas that I am going to
develop in the future. Again, congratulations and may success knock on
your every door.
Sincerely,
Nyree
Hi Mr. Moore,
I must say it was a blessing to come across a young bright black man such
as your self. I must say I'm not much of a book reader but your book kept
me want to know what happens next. I felt the need to email you to tell
you how much I enjoyed your book, and that you also inspired me to actually
wanting to write a book about my life story. Maybe you have some clues
on how to go about it!
Keep on being a loving husband and dad. I pray the lord will continue
to take you through these days god bless you and your family.
Thanks again for sharing your life story,
a reader LaLa
Hello Mr. Moore
Let me tell you I really love your book and it was
very touching. I could not put it down once i started to read it on Monday.
Man, I finished my work and ever chance I got, I was reading. Well any way I
finished the book by 5:00 p.m. Thanks for inspiring me to appreciate life
and family that much more. I truly enjoyed the book and I even had to fight
back tears because I was at work. I hope you write more and stay
encouraging to others and your family. I know your wife and daughter must
be happy and I am definately going to let my husband and daughter of 18 read
the book as well. Thanks again for sharing the book and it was worth every
penny. Again I can't thank you enough for the sharing the book with me.
Dear Christopher Moore,
Loved your read. Boy, Chapter 19 until the end had
me crying. A good cry, thanks because I really needed it. Good luck and my
God continue to bless you and your household.

Hi Mr. Moore,
I finished your novel last night it took me 1 1/2 days to finish it and Oh my God. I cried
and laughed and cried some more. That was the most touching thing I've
ever read. I cried so hard my little girl got scared. There is power on
them pages. Thank you my brotha for a wonderful journey. I was thinking
of looking for a part time job for evening and week-ends. I'm a single
mother and need (so I thought) the extra money. After reading God's child,
I looked into the eyes of my sweet little baby girl. I can manage with
what I have. God will make a way. I wish you all the love and happiness
your heart and hands can hold. You are a success.......
Peace
Terri Jackson
